@AmbireWallet· about 2 months agoRT @RHLSTHRM: Coolest thing I found in crypto this week: @AmbireWallet supports EIP-7702 account abstraction. It's a bit hidden in their settings but you can essentially send a tx to upgrade your normal EOA to a smart account. What this gets you is the ability to do things with your EOA that used to require a smart wallet: Tx batching - I went on @AerodromeFi, and clicked all the dashboard buttons to claim rewards from LP and voting, and instead of sending txs for each one, I added them to a batch. I completed 5 txs in a single tx. The huge unlock here is that dapps can now put approve and transferFrom in a single tx, solving the single worst part of EVM UX. I tried to do this for my weekly @ZoomerCoin buy, but unfortunately, Aerodrome's app does not support this since they won't proceed past the approval loader until the approval tx is complete. Gas fees - I paid for the above tx in AERO tokens instead of ETH! The part I want to stress here is that I did all of this in my same EOA I have been using for years, without having to transfer funds to a new wallet!! Ever since this EIP was postured years ago, I have been waiting to do this, and I'm stoked to see this finally happen. Kudos to the Ambire team for jumping on this early, I'm sure all the wallets will slowly integrate this. The next big thing will be account recovery features within your plain old EOA.
