RWA, #DeFi, AI, DePIN, all verticals that we should be looking at. One of the promising projects is $VET, which is building up to the launch of Stargate in a few weeks. It could be the ultimate flywheel, as the VeChain team has integrated all their learnings from the previous years into this upgrade. Let's first talk about the upgrades that VeChain has been implementing in the previous period. - Dana White has joined as an advisor within the VeChain ecosystem. This is a strong partnership as Dana White knows how to build a brand and grow a community, as he has a proven track record with UFC. - Mugshot, the first application in the VeChain ecosystem, has hit 1 million active users, which is a huge step forward in building a real-world community. - WanChain partnership, the first cross-chain bridge to and from VeChain - it will improve the opportunities in terms of DeFi and liquidity. - MiCA License for $VET and VTHO has been obtained in Europe, one of the first crypto protocols in the ecosystem, which enables the onboarding of a lot of Web 2 enterprises into the VeChain ecosystem. - Stella Pay, which unlocks the opportunity for a more 'Web-2' style of journey. What's that? Well, you can pay in a seamless manner using a Visa card at 130M+ retailers, there are no gas fees or complex wallet addresses. VeChain is shortly launching the next phase of VeChain Renaissance through its Stargate program, a brand new staking system, adding new core pillars and functionality behind rewards within the ecosystem. - Lowering the barrier for participants to join the ecosystem as validators with new Node tiers - Increasing the rewards for participants being active within the ecosystem --> Nodes generate much more APY vs the current system. - Decreased inflation of the $VTHO (the gas token), and higher fee burns resulting in a potential flywheel, as the more active the network is, the more market demand it drives, and more VTHO is burned, increasing the valuation of the project due to the network effect. Ultimately, it's a new major phase VeChain is launching with Stargate, a new staking system powered by protocol-level NFTs - it's the next phase of Web 3 as a whole. It's a better version of Web 2, and it's integrating real enterprises, as well as Web 3 degens looking for yield. What are we looking at from a technical perspective for VeChain? I've added a chart that technically explains everything behind the current vision on VeChain. The price has come back to where it started. Especially, in the past 6 months, it has been corrected by 70%. That's not great, and the question then is: Why did it correct so much? A lot of people will focus on the asset itself, which I think isn't fair, as protocols like Ethereum have dropped by more than 50% in the same quarter, marking it one of the worst quarters in history for crypto. It was all macro-driven, which means that if a project continues to build, that provides a big gap between the 'real' value of the token vs. the current price, as it's entirely externally driven by other factors. At some point in time, the market will be going back to 'neutral' and the protocol should be valued at its realistic price, which should be happening in the coming period as the macroeconomics are changing substantially. Ultimately, this means that the fact that VeChain is accumulating at these lows again provides a great opportunity to accumulate a position, knowing that many changes are applied to the ecosystem. Funny sidenote: In the previous run of VeChain, it ran to the 1.618 Fibonacci level, which is often referred to as the key marker in new upwards runs for the markets. If that's the case again, then the next upwards run could be to $0.12. What's next? The Stargate program is on the horizon, which provides the ability for early investors and participants to yield higher rewards for being early in that community. This provides: higher returns on your staking rewards for the first period, and being part of a great community. Now, in my previous cycle, I've been joining protocols myself (as in: I went all-in #Altcoins in that period), and I managed to stake those particular assets. Assume that you're yielding yourself an APY of 10% at current valuations. If that particular asset is substantially undervalued and continues to rally, your APY on your initial investment significantly increases, and that's where the fun kicks in. That's why I think it's vital to take a look at VeChain and the Stargate program, as it's also on my shortlist to be added to my public portfolio, especially given the upcoming program.

Which improvements are those, and why should you consider VeChain? ⬇️ In our recent episode of the podcast, @new_era_finance, I've had a conversation with VeChain's founder, @sunshinelu24, on the differences between the cycles of 2021 and 2025. Watch the podcast here: https://t.co/qYEazkglgW He said that institutional companies are more interested in protocols that have proven to have a track record and continued to build in the bear market. That's different from the previous cycle, as the old mantra has been that 'newer technology is yielding a higher return'. That might be completely different, and VeChain is likely going to be an example. For sure, they have been delivering in the past months, building up to the new release of the Stargate Program, which is all part of the VeChain Renaissance. That's something that I've been admiring about VeChain, as I've been involved in VeChain since 2017 (proud holder during that first cycle, and that's also where the strong community has been built up). The Key Milestones: - Dana White has become an advisor for VeChain, which is a big name to be added to the ecosystem and therefore opening doors for the entire protocol. - MiCA license was obtained by VeChain, through which Web 2 companies will be able to start doing business with VeChain. Why is this important? ---> In the future, there's a very likely case that marketing will be done in a more sustainable way where companies will be spending marketing budget through sustainable campaigns, where end-users will be able to get a return from actually using the products (for instance: mugs). In that way, targeted marketing towards the end-customer will be more effective and reliable, and to onboard those companies, you'll need to have a MiCa License. - The Stella Pay x $B3TR payment card was released so people can spend their tokens earned on the VeBetter platform. - 4ocean partnership through which the VeChain team is teaming up with 4ocean to combat waste and therefore tokenize waste onto the blockchain. - Multiple listings of the tokens on several exchanges improve the liquidity of the entire ecosystem. Why is this all relevant? Ultimately, you'd want to see that your ecosystem and your investment continue to deliver and expand. For sure, VeChain has proven to be on point when it comes to building efforts, and the amount of positivity surrounding the ecosystem is great. Sunny is a great founder, and after 10 years, keeps on having the motivation to continue to build. Now, at this point in the cycle, it's a great moment to reflect and decide whether or not you'd want to have VeChain in your portfolio. If you're looking for a more 'ESG-proof' or 'sustainable' portfolio, it's a good one to consider, and, aside from that, you'll be able to earn more yield if you're joining the Stargate program on July 1st. Stargate Program Small sidenote, assume you'll be investing $1,000 into an asset that yields 10% APY. That's $100 per year. Good job. Now, as we all assume that the markets are going to be trending upwards, adjust those numbers. Let's say that your underlying asset increases in value to $5,000 and the APY remains the same; now you're earning $500 per year, which is effectively 50%. That's why I think looking at those opportunities makes a lot of sense, and it even improves the ecosystem. Every action that investors, validators, stakers, or participants take will be positively rewarded within the VeChain ecosystem. That's why I think it's worth to have a look at the Stargate program, which is expected to go live on July 1st and will offer early adopters higher rewards for their ability to join early. I think it's a great one to keep in mind at this point in the cycle. The Chart Now, when we're looking at the charts (and we need to make sure that this is not financial advice), then both the USDT and BTC pairs are currently in a bottoming structure. The USDT pair is the most compelling for this as it inverted the entire move of 2021. That's not bad thing; that's quite normal to happen for any particular asset in , However, this is also the area where you want to become interested in an asset, as I think that the entire topic surrounding diminishing returns will fade away. Given that the inflation of $VET is already extremely low with all tokens in circulation & going to drop substantially, it's a good moment to analyze for yourself whether this is a fit at these levels.

@0x_Todd· 4 months ago大家都知道最近很长一段时间，加密项目一级市场融资是地狱难度，很多一级基金更是进入旅游放假模式，别问，问就是很久没投了😂。 但是前几天筛项目时，看到 Huma 居然之前融了 38M 美金。你要知道，这个融资额甚至就超过了很多 BN 上的新项目的 FDV （没错，说的就是你 $TUT ）。 所以好奇心驱使看了一下这个项目主要是做什么的，它为什么融这么多呢？ 其实 Huma 是做 PayFi 的，也就支付融资，旗下的 Arf 主打跨境支付流动性解决方案。 很多朋友对这个赛道其实是既熟悉也陌生，熟悉的是这个词高频提到；陌生的是，本质上 PayFi 都是 to B 的，所以普通 C 端用户感知不明显。 很多人第一反应是比特币的白皮书，中本聪钦点的角度就是——点对点的支付网络。简单直接，解决一切支付问题，既然有比特币了，为什么还要其他跨境支付呢？ 最近新接受的一个观点是，两点之间直线最短，但是两点之间可能曲线最快。 尽管也许未来比特币真的能成为世界货币，但是就 2025 的现状而言，先让商家接受是第一步。 在一个标准的跨境支付环节中，以一个香港用户想从日本购买商品为例： 用户的需求是付港币； 而商家的需求是收日元。 所以，跨境支付一个难点就是，传统基于 SWIFT 电汇处理跨境支付确实是比较慢。而且，它总是习惯性地牺牲商家利益，香港用户付款后，日本的商家尽管没拿到钱（要等待数日），但是顾客是上帝嘛，所以商家需要立刻准备发货。 所以，尽管用户没觉得跨境支付有多痛苦，但是商家确实是很烦恼。每个做买卖的人都迫切地希望立刻回款，以增加周转扩大规模，这是刻在资本基因里的需求。 那么，传统的区块链跨境支付是怎么解决这个问题的呢？ 例如 Ripple，它采取的策略比较简单粗暴，它的 Ripple Net 的工作原理是这样的： 用户支付港币 MM/网关收到港币市价买入 XRP XRP 汇给另外一个 MM 另外一个 MM 把 XRP 市价卖成日元 MM/网关把日元支付给商家 其实，上述 1-5 步骤都很快，都可以在几分钟内搞定，因此 Ripple 把跨币种的实时结算做到了 10 分钟级别。 这可是实时结算，这就是为什么 Ripple 的 Token economy 一塌糊涂（之前聊过），却依然能够做到在全球各个交易所里做到超高成交量，成为各个交易所座上宾的原因。 不过其实 Ripple 这个方案只能算 1.0。 它的缺陷是，XRP 流动性虽然好，但是归根结底 $XRP 依然是一个波动性货币，无论是支付公司还是商家都不炒币，不愿意承担币价波动。 而且流动性的话，对美金可能还不错，但是对于其他货币并没有想象地那么好。 这个香港用户如果只买 1,000 港币的货物当然无所谓，但是如果这个用户想买 1M 港币的货物呢？那 Ripple 的 MM/网关未必有那么多的流动性。 由于这两个局限性，Ripple 实际业务和盈利都不多，公司主要收入来自卖币。 看到这你可能会想，那么为什么不用 $USDC 作为中介物呢？稳定币的稳定性和流动性显然好于 XRP。 没错，这就是 @humafinance Huma 提出的 2.0 方案。 Ripple 相对封闭，它使用 XPR 币在 Ripple 网上结算； 而 Huma 更加开放，它则使用稳定币（例如 USDC）在公共区块链（例如 Solana 或者 Stella ）上结算。 显然这个 2.0 方案要更加开放，而且可用性更高。 尤其是 Huma 使用 USDC，所以得到了 Circle 的融资，是一个战略性质的背书。 以 Huma 和 Arf 为例，给大家展示一下，这个 2.0 方案是如何完成跨境支付的？ 下图是 Huma 在 Solana 上的池。它首先组建了一个大的流动性池子，通过 10.5% 利息+积分吸引 LP。这个池子是信贷池，为那些支付服务商提供类似“应收货款的过桥贷”。 如果用户使用了传统支付方式，那么池子先把 USDC 发给 MM，由 MM 立刻结算成本地货币给支付服务商，等于给支付服务商放了一个短周期过桥贷，然后支付的服务商可以立刻付款给商家。 大概流程是：用户（港币）→ 支付服务商（港币）→ Huma（港币-USDC-日元）→ 支付服务商（日元）→ 商家（日元） 这样不再占用商家资金，商家也乐意付出一些成本。 每笔贷款收取几个基点的利息，由于高周转率，利息加起来年化很可观。所以之前的这个池子的利息可以到 10% 以上，而且还有积分补贴。 开放式框架，除了体现在使用 USDC 和更多公链之外，还体现在它愿意和加密用户分享收益，而 Ripple 是不分的。 之前 Huma 推出的几期额度都满了，这一期新的和往期不一样的是，它不要求 KYC 和锁仓，同时增加了 Maxi 模式，可以关注下。 所以，好的方案未必是最直接的； 但是好的方案一定是兼容性最好的。 现在跨境支付的解决方案有很多很多，远非区块链一途，但是 Huma 由于采用的是开放性的架构，所以兼容性能做到最好，最小的改变才能让商家以最小的阻力接受。 目前 Huma 作为一个后来者，一年内链上流水已经超过 30 亿美金，增长速度不错。 说实话，你说服大部分商家接受 BTC 和 USDC 直接支付是个漫长的过程（直线最短）； 如果你要说服支付服务提供商接受一个区块链中间件，它依然拿到法币，且更快，接受程度肯定是最高的（曲线最快）。 而尝到甜头的商家，未来某天直接接受 BTC 也更加可能。 这也可能是机构们愿意押注 PayFi 的原因。 最后回到投资机构， 38M 融资，其中 28M 是投资额。 这些机构都很不错，领投 Distributed Global 实力蛮强的，是最早期押注 Solana 的机构之一，其部分Portfolio如下： 另外，在车上的机构还有 Folius，Hashkey，ParaFi等等。尤其是 Folius 低调且强大，它精准地投到了 SleeplessAI、MyShell、Catizen 等 😂 懂得都懂。 另外，开放框架还是有好处的，它还吸引恒星币基金会的 10M RWA 投资（相当于投资 TVL），果然还是恒星币最懂瑞波。 还有刚才提到的 Circle，其CEO明确提过期望通过这个项目增加 USDC 的使用场景；以及 Solana 基金会主席 Lily也是投资人，当然 Solana 也垂涎 Ripple 网络的使用场景。 团结所有能团结的——这是开放式框架的永恒优势。

The event saw the participation of approximately 2,700 people. Among the conference protagonists were @paoloardoino, CEO of Tether, @adam3us, CEO of @Blockstream, Nick Szabo, renowned cypherpunk, @giacomozucco, director of @planb_network, and @peterktodd, Bitcoin developer. The presentations were divided across four different stages: the main WAGMI Stage and the secondary stages P2P Stage, UTXO room, and Hal Finney room. The conference also included a free Italian stage called Spazio21, dedicated to exploring topics such as self-custody, nodes, mining, transactions, and Lightning Network through practical workshops. Multiple themes were discussed during the conference: from possible future protocol updates to Bitcoin as a tool for freedom, covering the success of ETFs launched in January and addressing privacy protection methods in daily Bitcoin usage. The event was opened by Lugano’s mayor Michele Foletti, who illustrated updates on the initiative launched two years ago, explaining how approximately 350 shops now accept payments in Bitcoin, Tether, and LVGA, the city’s stablecoin pegged to the Swiss franc. Regarding the use of bitcoins received from tax payments or services by the city of Lugano, Foletti stated: “Current Law doesn’t allow us to hold bitcoin. We hope for a change in Law to create a bitcoin treasury.” Among the most interesting panels was The Covenants Dilemma, featuring Paolo Ardoino, Giacomo Zucco, @Excellion, Paul Faecks, and @tierotiero. During the discussion, the five speakers debated various covenants under study and their possible implications for the protocol. The conclusion that can be drawn from the interventions is that covenant activation seems to find consensus among the five protagonists, considering the improvements they could unlock in terms of scalability and use cases; it remains to be understood which proposal is the best to implement. Following this was the debate Use of Bitcoin Blockspace, which included @LukeDashjr and @GrassFedBitcoin against Peter Todd and @pete_rizzo_, moderated by @stephanlivera. @MartiniGuyYT· about 1 year agoI see a lot of horrible things online every day I’m sure you do too I think people concentrate on small things like the riots in England for example. They are localised in small poor areas with the bottom of society rioting. Every society has a bottom, you can’t help these people, they will always exist. Pint of stella and a fag for breakfast, beat the wife and kids when you get home from a hard day at the pub. Switch off to it, 99.9% of the UK is not rioting it’s a great place full of great people just like the USA, Canada, France & other great countries that get a bad wrap. Focus on your money, don’t get caught up in the nonsense of politics and hate.
