Every other cycle I had some baseline innovation to look forward to. Yes 90% of this shit has always been some level of scam, but the remaining 10% got me outta bed excited to see what the onchain future would bring. And no this shit is not performing better: dilution is INSANE and new launches are at ath, with 99.9% going to zero within hours. The only difference is that by speed running it all you’re feeding your dopamine fried overstimulated receptors. @AltcoinSherpa· about 1 year agoThere actually aren't a whole lot of true crypto native ppl in the trenches IMO I'm talking about those who are flipping shitcoins onchain + trying all the new dapps + going to the newest chains + experimenting Builders: Most of them are building/not in tune w. market as much CEX traders: Are checking charts nonstop + doing market things VCs: Most of them probably haven't even opened a metamask wallet, much less actually done any meaningful things onchain. Even if you're full time in crypto, I've found that many who work at protocols full time are not usually doing all the degenerate stuff that solo traders are. (Doesn't mean this is good or bad, it is what it is. We need builders here, too). Definitely think that true crypto native people are rare. I salute you all
