Chuck Ng
Chuck is an entrepreneur & investor in AI, fintech/blockchain, big data, IoT space. He is the founding President & CMO of Project PAI and responsible for its overall strategic direction. Additionally Chuck is the founding partner of PreAngel Partners US and venture partner at WI Harper and an advisor at Intl University Innovation Alliance (IUIA), SK Telecom, Shanghai Govt’s Big Data/AI National Lab, Beijing ZGC Dev. Group. He was a board member of Vimicro (NASDAQ: VIMC), China's leading surveillance and AI company. Previously, Chuck was a founding member of Eureka Therapeutics, a leading cancer therapeutic platform company. Prior to investing/startups, Chuck worked at eBay PayPal and led its financial strategy and global expansion to Singapore (APAC HQ), China and the creation of PayPal Bank where he won 4 MVP awards and the "PayPalian" Award, the highest award at PayPal. Additionally, Chuck has been an advisor/mentor of UC Berkeley Skydeck Accelerator, Berkeley/Tsinghua Global Technology Entrepreneurship (GTE) Program, Tsinghua Xlab, RocketSpace (incubated Uber), MIT, Carnegie Mellon (CMU), Stanford and Schwarzman College. In recognition of his community leadership, Chuck is the recipient of the Bradford King Award for Excellence (given annually to an outstanding Berkeley alumnus in community services) and recognized by Asia Society as an Asia 21 Young Leader. Chuck is a graduate of UC Berkeley and has dual MBA degrees from Tsinghua University & INSEAD.
