The DOJ seized dozens of cryptocurrencies from unhosted wallets and Binance accounts. Inca Digital Identifies Links to Shiba Inu and Fantom Foundation Inca Digital analyzed the addresses cited in the complaint and identified connections to several high-profile entities. These include “Shiba Inu Deployer 1” (0xA221), an address linked to the deployment of memecoins such as Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Kuma Inu (KUMA), as well as the Fantom Foundation. Specifically, “Shiba Inu Deployer 1” (0xA221) transferred over $3.7 million to address 0xce96, which subsequently sent $144,000 to 0x21d2. That address then transferred $608 to dontsmile.eth, one of the addresses named in the complaint. From there, multiple on-chain transactions connect to multiple wallets labeled as “IT Worker Payment” and “Consolidation” addresses in the DOJ filing. For clarity, these addresses are collectively referred to as “DPRK IT Workers Cluster 1.” High-Profile Associations Suggest Elevated Ecosystem Risk While the Fantom Foundation has not issued a confirmation, it is possible that one of the IT workers named in the report was previously contracted by the Foundation and that the associated transaction was compensation for their services. @EverRise· 3 months agoWith the Fantom upgrade to Sonic, all Fantom users must move their assets off the blockchain. EverBridge will be open indefinitely for EverRise holders to bridge their tokens and stakes to any of the other four blockchains with no fee. The RISE token liquidity will be removed. The approximately 2.58 billion RISE tokens will be burned and the FTM will be converted to wrapped BTC distributed between the other four chains. These BTC reserves will perform buyback and burns of RISE tokens when there is a price difference across blockchains. The buybacks will be ongoing with no set end date. EverRise will not be migrating its Fantom dApps to Sonic.

DeFi got way more traction than we ever imagined from institutional players and retail users, especially in decentralized lending. As an example, you can see @MorphoLabs and @aave's latest integrations aiming to create a bankless financial system accessible to billions of people globally. However, there is a drawback: the entire lending space operates in isolation, with liquidity becoming increasingly fragmented as new protocols emerge across different chains. I've recently been working with @0xSoulProtocol, and they introduced me to an exciting solution they're building: a cross-chain and cross-protocol lending protocol aggregator. While many projects have tried addressing the cross-chain dilemma, this might be the first time a protocol makes users lend and borrow across multiple protocols seamlessly. At its core, Soul Protocol is a new DeFi primitive, not just another lending protocol, but an infrastructure layer connecting multiple lending markets. For the first time, you can deposit collateral in one protocol and borrow from another, even across entirely different blockchains. Think of it like this: instead of being limited to choosing between Aave on Ethereum, Morpho on Arbitrum, or Kamino on Solana, Soul gives you simultaneous access to all of them through one unified interface, without manually bridging or moving assets. Because what matters to users is how quickly their transactions become final - because that’s when money becomes available. For chains that require just one block confirmation for finality, block time is the key metric. Once the block with your tx is added to the chain, the tx is finalized. And here, @Aptos is a head above the rest of the chains: its block time is just 0.13s! So you’ll have to wait only 0.13x to get tokens after a swap on #Liquidswap, for example, or when you send money with Pontem Wallet (plus physical network latency & app interface delays) As you can see in the dashboard by @chainspect_app (https://t.co/QhJunuemoU - check it out, it’s awesome) Aptos’ block time is _twice shorter_ than that of Arbitrum (no.2 with 0.26s) #Solana can boast only 0.4s (3x slower than Aptos), and #Sonic (former Fantom) is a bit slower still at 0.43s per block #Base has a block time of 2s - 15 times longer than on Aptos!
