Stephan Karpischek
Working on decentralized insurance at Etherisc. Prior to that I co-founded disrupt consulting, a cooperative for digital strategy consulting. I worked on digital innovation for leading European companies in the banking, telecommunications, and automotive sector. I have 20 years experience with startups, business strategy, Internet technology, information management, software and teaching. I received a PhD from ETH Zürich for a thesis on mobile applications in the Internet of Things and using machine learning to improve the quality of master data for retail products. My main interest is how we can use innovations in technology to make the world a better place. I consider blockchains and crypto economics great opportunities to achieve that.
