2/ ⚙️ EIP-7907 removes the 24KB contract size limit and also prevents DoS attacks through dynamic gas metering based on contract size. EIP-7907 is now a Candidate for Inclusion (CFI) in Ethereum’s upcoming Fukasa upgrade. If implemented, it will enable richer dApps — such as AI agents, DEXs, lending protocols, and more — as contract logic becomes increasingly complex and size grows.
1/ 🔍 We recently talked about EIP-7907 – but what makes this proposal so important for Ethereum’s future? Ethereum currently limits smart contract code size to 24KB. That means developers must break large contracts into smaller ones using proxy patterns and delegate calls, which adds complexity and cost. This was a long-standing pain point for developers.
