A new, highly customized version of TE-FOOD's #blockchain based #traceability system has been launched at Rujamar, one of the biggest ecological egg supplier in Spain. The new version merges the functionalities of the previous separate systems for different parts of the traceability process. Ruyamar can now extend the traceability dataset they use, and create customized traceability presentations to all of their product lines: their own brands – like the Huevos Ecologicos, and also the white label brands like Huevos Camperos Alcampo. $tone

TE-FOOD's latest development in their #blockchain based HCMC Governmental Traceability Platform enables meat packaging companies to integrate TE-FOOD's technology with their industrial label printing solutions. This integration allows printers to generate unique QR codes on the fly, which includes TE-FOOD's proprietary security feature, ColorGram, and the newly introduced TextGram option. As a result, meat packaging plants now have three options for applying consumer traceability QRs: they can use pre-printed sticker rolls provided by TE-FOOD, apply them manually or with applicators, or utilize the new TextGram feature to print the QR codes themselves. $TONE

Auchan France implements traceability for cashew nuts. Auchan, in collaboration with the company Intersnack, have worked together to offer more responsible and better quality cashew nuts. Auchan is committed to ensuring that the cashew nuts are only shelled mechanically, which makes it possible to avoid physical contact of workers with urushiol, a toxic compound present in the shell of cashew nuts which causes burns on contact with skin. "Single roof" production guarantees total quality control and product safety, from harvest to final packaging. TE-FOOD's blockchain based traceability system tracks the main events, and lets consumers to scan a QR code and view all necessary information.

BaF Vietnam Agriculture Joint Stock Company has implemented TE-FOOD's digital TTX print module. BaF is amongst the largest pork meat producers in #Vietnam, with over 50 farms, several slaughterhouses, and nearly 150 retail shops. TE-FOOD recently finished the several months implementation for BaF, which enables them to use their existing industrial printers to automatically print TE-FOOD #blockchain verified QR codes on the standard product labels, with a direct integration to TE-FOOD's backend. 🖊️MoU for building the "Vietnam Large Livestock Product Supply Chain" In 2022, #Vietnam 🇻🇳 had over 2.2 million buffaloes 🐃, nearly 6.6 million cows 🐄, as well as over 2.9 million goats 🐐 and sheep 🐏. In total, large animals provided 644 000 tons of meat 🥩, and 1.1 million tons of milk 🥛 output. This means about 50% of the 97 milion people country's demand was fulfilled domestically, leaving the other 50% for import. Since the production is scattered (many smallholder farms 🧑‍🌾), technological advancements are still rare in this field. This means continuous epidemics risk, low productivity and high production costs, but also provide opportunities, if a generic solution's costs can be spread amongst many participants. "In the future, although there are many difficulties and barriers, the large cattle farming industry cannot help but develop" said the Chairman of the Vietnam Large Cattle Breeding Association. Dao Ha Trung from the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association and TE-FOOD presented nine important factors that need to be resolved for the large livestock supply chain to develop sustainably: 1⃣ The problem of antibiotic resistance; 2⃣ Disease control for humans and animals; 3⃣ Combat illegal import; 4⃣ Increase productivity and quality; 5⃣ Anti-brand counterfeiting; 6⃣ Food safety; 7⃣ Transparency, increasing trust of partners; 8⃣ Animal welfare; 9⃣ Sustainable livestock farming, reducing waste. There are many participants of the supply chain (breeders, farmers, veterinaries, slaughterhouses, processors, distribution). By connecting them into one hub ♾ could reduce intermediaries, losses, costs, and limit diseases. This could lead to better livestock management, environmental friendliness, safer products and deeper regulatory oversight. For this reason, the Vietnam Large Cattle Breeding Association, the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association, and 15 leading businesses signed a MoU to collaborate in building the "Vietnam Large Livestock Product Supply Chain" applying modern technology. #blockchain $TONE

When we have read about it in the Telegram group, we reached out to the only contact person we had, but he is on holiday until the end of the month. TE-FOOD is one of the most adopted blockchain projects, serving over 6000 business customers in a very important use case of blockchain technology: food safety.
